The main focus was fixing the armada. We spend a lot of time just working it, by practicing the feinta (or fake). We had to turn our torso enough to give two high fives. We practiced it over and over again, and eventually we did different kicks out of it. Eventually we worked on throwing both a queixada and martelo. The response of both kicks is either an esquiva de frente or an esquiva basica.
The movement was a lot harder then it looks, so we spend of thee practice on the armada. The focus on the hands help turning the hips so the kick is clean. It’s always good to break down basics to reinforce them.
